About

Who's behind Crucible.

I'm Alesko — a self-taught developer from the Czech Republic. I started modding Minecraft for fun, shipped a client mod that crossed 15,000 downloads on Modrinth, and turned what started as a hobby into serious freelance work. Every project gets the same treatment: purpose-built from scratch, to spec, no shortcuts.

I work solo — meaning you always talk directly to the person actually writing your code. No account managers, no handoffs, no one relaying your message. When you message me, I'm the one who reads it and builds it.

Process

How every order works.

Simple, transparent, no surprises — from first message to final delivery.

01

Describe your idea

Reach out on Discord. Be as detailed or vague as you like — I'll ask the right questions to understand exactly what you want.

02

Agree on scope & price

You get a clear quote. Starting at €10, scaled by complexity. No work starts until we both agree on what's being built.

03

Built from scratch

Every line written specifically for you. No templates, no copy-paste, no shortcuts whatsoever.

04

Verify & receive

Request the full source code to audit first. Then receive your compiled file, ready to go.

Why clients choose me

What makes this different.

Custom code only

Every line is written specifically for your project. No reused template bases, no copy-pasted skeletons — code that exists solely for your use case.

Audit before you run

Request the full source code before executing anything. Read it yourself, have a developer review it — you should never run code you haven't verified.

Price agreed upfront

The final cost is locked in before a single line is written. No scope creep surprises, no mid-project price hikes — what we agree on is what you pay.

Direct communication

You message me on Discord, I reply — no ticket queues, no support handoffs. If there’s a delay or issue, you’ll hear from me first, not find out yourself.

Pricing

Transparent, fair pricing.

Priced by complexity. Full cost confirmed before work starts — no hidden fees, no surprises.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What Minecraft versions do you support?
+
Fabric mods target 1.20.x and above, including the latest 1.21.x. Server plugins may support older versions depending on the API — just ask when you reach out.
How do I know the code is safe to run?
+
You can always request the full source code before executing anything. Read it yourself, or have someone audit it. My published mod Aetherium on Modrinth is a live example you can inspect right now.
What mod loaders do you support?
+
Fabric only for client/hybrid mods. For pure server-side needs, plugins (Paper/Purpur) work regardless of what loader the clients use — and are often the better solution anyway.
How long does development take?
+
Depends entirely on complexity. A simple feature might be done in a day or two; a larger system can take a week or more. I'll give you a realistic timeline upfront — no vague estimates.
When and how do I pay?
+
We agree on scope and price before any work begins. Payment is via PayPal (paypal.me/aaleskoo) or PaySafeCard. All prices are in euros. Specific terms are discussed per project on Discord.
Can I order both a plugin and a Fabric mod together?
+
Yes — features that need both a client-side mod and a server-side component can be built as a bundle. Describe what you need and I'll quote it together.
Do you build websites too?
+
Yes. I build modern, responsive websites from scratch — portfolios, service pages, landing pages, and more. No page-builder bloat. This very site is a live example.
What if the result doesn't match what we agreed?
+
If something doesn't work as specified, I'll fix it. The goal is a product that does exactly what we agreed — nothing less.
Do you work with existing codebases?
+
Yes — if you already have a mod or plugin and need something added or changed, I can work with your existing code. Send it over and I'll let you know if it's feasible before any commitment.
Can I request updates or fixes after delivery?
+
Minor fixes to things that don't match what we agreed are covered at no extra cost. Larger new features after delivery are treated as a new order — discussed and quoted separately.
Is there a minimum order size?
+
The minimum is €10. Below that, the scope is usually too small to formalise — but feel free to describe what you need and I'll tell you honestly whether it fits.
